Our Journey in Maritime Training
Maritime Safety Training has been training maritime crews for more than 40 years. It began in 1981 as the Fishing Industry Training Board of NSW, set up by the New South Wales seafood industry. As the training broadened beyond fishing, the organisation was formally established as the NSW Fishing Industry Training Committee, and today trades as Maritime Safety Training.
